The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego houses more than 4,000 works of art created since 1950 in all media including painting, sculpture, photography, video, and film. One of two facilities, MCASD is located in downtown San Diego just blocks from the bay; the other is located north of the city in La Jolla. The museum's collections highlight 1960s and 70s pop art, minimalism, conceptual art, Latin American art and regional art. Many of the pieces displayed are commissioned expressly for the museum, giving them further contextual significance.

General Admission $10; Military and Seniors $5; Ages 25 and under are free. Admission valid for 7 days at all MCASD locations.
